Legendary joke machine Jackie Martling recently called in to talk about ‘The Joke Man: Bow To Stern’, his new book that details his years in stand-up, music, radio and television. In the second half of the show, New Jersey’s Grip Weeds preview their new concert DVD.

Aside from his years on the Howard Stern show, Jackie talks about his upcoming TV projects, a new documentary about his career, tales from the road, what happened to Jackie’s Joke Hunt and the seldom-discussed connection between corn and television.

A few years ago legendary comedian Adrianne Tolsch was gracious enough to appear on our podcast. She shared stories of her early days in stand-up, the kindness of Rodney Dangerfield and the genius of Bill Hicks.

Adrianne Tolsch died on Dec. 7 of esophageal cancer. She was 78.
