Greatest podcast guest of all-time Bill Scheft returns to talk about putting together a tribute to his wife and comic extraordinaire Adrianne Tolsch, a phenomenal new documentary about plastic surgery and a voicemail he recently received from Jay Leno.
Other topics covered include the week The Late Show spent in London, former Johnny Carson producer Peter Lassally’s role in the Letterman organization and Chris Rock’s place on the Mt. Rushmore of stand-up comedy.
And for The Truants, no music this week past 1968.

Our all-time favorite podcast guest Bill Scheft returns to reflect on the moving (and often hysterical) memorial service for his wife and certified comedic genius Adrianne Tolsch.
The wide ranging conversation also ventures into the sensitive state of comedy, dinner with Don Rickles, a cathartic road trip to the Grand Canyon, a fresh joke from Bill’s former employer and the first shot fired in my attempt to interview someone connected to the show “Ed”.
