Author Bill Kopp (MUSOSCRIBE, BLURT) has written a new book that chronicles a rich but often overlooked chapter of Pink Floyd history.
In the wake of Syd Barrett’s departure in 1968, the band sought a new identity. Up until the release of The Dark Side Of The Moon in 1973, Pink Floyd released some of the most radical music of their career.
Over the course of the albums A Saucerful of Secrets, More, Ummagumma, Zabriskie Point, Meddle and Obscured By Clouds, Pink Floyd expanded their sound and totally changed their approach to songwriting and live performance.
Kopp’s book offers many insights that will be revelations to even the most astute Pink Floyd obsessives – a few of which he reveals in this podcast.
